I first created this pattern back in 2017; my sister and I were getting ready for our first holiday craft market and I had a bunch of leftover bulky yarn from making winter hats.
We have made this pattern the last two winters and have noticed the original pattern stretches out really easily with the yarn and needles used. So I was inspired to revamp the pattern and it now uses smaller needles for tighter stitches and a more snug fit. I also added a 3 needle bind off to finish for a more seamless join.
This is a super quick knit so it makes a perfect gift and it uses a small amount of yarn so it’s a great stash buster. It’s also a relatively easy pattern for beginners looking to expand their skills.
Recommended Yarn: Loops and Threads Charisma (available at Michael’s).
